Watch TV on laptop over wifi?

You could set up a network and use the desktop as a server. There also may be a way to do it using some type on VPN setup. They also sell USB tv tuners where you could just connect your cable to the tuner and watch tv on the lappy.

Looking for a notebook

Gaming Notebook?

I'm not a gamer but most of the posters on the Sager Forum that are heavy gamers have the P4 and make that selection based on power and not mobility. Most of the posters that buy for mobility don't use their lappys for heavy gaming. Just a thought!!!

I don't think you will find a lappy at least being sold in the USA with a 17inch monitor and a Pentium M processor. I have a lappy with a 17 inch screen with a P4 3.2 ghz processor and I'm told that if I turn the brightness down it will save battery life. The Samsung M40 available in Europe uses...
