X800XL Question for all new owners

well i dont have a x800 xl, but a 9800 pro and can tell you that the x800 secondary is for your second monitor (duel monitor) setup.

This is crazy if true ***Update 40K 3dmarks possible???**

x800xt was realeased in june/july 04 so it will be around 1 year after. it just wasnt in huge quanities

What video card for WoW?

i have a 9800pro with a a a64 3200+. I can get 50-75 fps at 1280x1024. I think this game is more cpu dependent then it is gpu

9100 plays HL2 well

yea i remember seeing a video of it being run on voodoo 3 or rage 128 or something from the back then. It ran but just didnt have like any shaders and anyting...but it ran

Best Buy 80GB HD 25 bucks AR

Just went to best buy today to finish my christmas shopping and ran accross a 80GB Western Digital IDE hard drive for 25 bucks. It has 8 mb cache also. I dont know if they will have the sale after christmas but they might should check it out/

If it were free.... Which would you rather have?

i think i would take the Viewsonic, so much people have problems with the dells (2001/2005FP/W) about backlight, screendoor affects. You dont here much complaints about the VP201...or maybe its because nobody buys them?

basically what Craig said, if ATI can actually "make" enough products then you might see them there, but if not look at 550+

x800XT or 6800gt ???

i got the money for the xt but i was just wondering about the ps3.0, thats about it. i would go for the 6800 ulta, but its 2 slots, and wouldnt fit in a shuttle SN95G5

yea ive been looking at the reviews and x800xt has gotten about 10-15 more fps then the gt. But what about down the road, ps3.0 wouldnt that kill the x800xt performance? also is this the last batch of agp cards??

ok ok, i know this has probably been posted a bizillion times and all, but should i get the bfg 6800gt for around 410, or x800xt for 460??? The 6800GT has the ps3, which the x800xt doesnt. Will that even be incorrperated into games at all? Ill mainly be playing World of Warcraft and Hl2/CS:S...

Prime95 fails, is my vcore too low?

yea i would recommend getting a new heatsink, the stock amd one doesnt cut it for overclocking. That could very well be your problem. You should look into a xp-90/xp-120 heatsink, and put a fan on there

you can use a program called cpuFSB/CPU cool. But you wont get much maybe up to 2ghz

the rev2 uses samsung TCCD chips. These are able to reach up to 280FSB on a64, i dont know about intel so get the rev 2, not the other kind

Shuttle Xpc Sn95g5 Questions

ok im wanting to sell my rig and get parts for this. I want to get a 74gig raptor, x800xtPE, and a a64 3000+ 939 90NM, Audigy 2 ZS, along with some corsair pc4400 cas 2.5 memory. My quesiton is with the power supply they have, 230 watts, i belive, could it run all of this?? thanks

its faster, but you cant notice it is. But it also has the small wire (Very Helpful) in wire management to make your pc look nice

gettin me a new monitor for xmas, but im down to these two. Finally getting rid of the Big CRT. The dell looks awesome and so does the Viewsonic. But its 20.1" vs 17 and 600 vs 400. Also the ViewSonic has HDTV support which is awesome cuz im going to be watching TV on this monitor also. But...
