I think I need to clarify, since the wording in the table is a bit ambiguous: "Not run" means I haven't attempted to run it. "Did not start" means what it says, of course. Crysis seems to have problems launching on recent systems. I think I just got a black screen shortly and then back to Steam...

At least for single thread, I'm guessing it's ~15% improved IPC. Goldmont to Goldmont Plus was 25-30% on average. Also, the J64XX has 15-20% higher frequency than the J4205. 1.7/(1.3*1.15)=1.14. Not awfully exciting either way... The graphics will of course be a pretty major improvement, though.

I've run quite a lot of tests on both Goldmont and Goldmont Plus. From my own testing, it appears Goldmont Plus is between Penryn and Nehalem in IPC. A 30% IPC uplift on top of that will result in IPC closer to Haswell.

I have the SNES Classic, as well as a Pi and RetroArch on PC, and I'm interested in hearing what kind of differences you notice between the Classic and the Pi in SMW? I know the Pi has higher input lag than the Classic, but do you notice other differences?

It should probably be mentioned that there is a decent number of games that require patches to work correctly with Canoe (Nintendo's emulator). I haven't followed the community since spring, so I'm not updated on the latest progress, but I'm guessing there's still games that have yet to receive...

If processor X runs the game logic of a certain game 30% faster than processor Y at 1080p, processor X will run the game logic around 30% faster at 4K as well (or has that changed? Honest question...). You can even out the differences by adding a GPU bottleneck, but it just means processor X...
