Yeah, I just talked to NCIX again. It seems that the person that I talked to originally didn't know what they were talking about. I cancelled my order. Bummer.
No, I assumed "In stock" meant that they hadn't been sold or allocated. I'll probably call back tomorrow to find out the status of the order. If I didn't get one that was in stock, I'll cancel my order.
I bought these from Overstock.com. The white box they arrived in looked like it had been in the warehouse for 6 years, the metal feet on each of the speakers were bent (no big deal), and one of the speakers doesn't work. I tried to just return the one speaker for replacement, but they're out...
