I have to disagree on this. Running a lower resolution than the native doesn't necessarily mean it's going to look like crap.
My video card can't handle half life 2 at the 2005fpw's native res. I have to run it at the wide aspect res lower than that (i can't remember the exact numbers). It...
It has 1 upstream usb port on mine. Unless I have the wrong definition of an upstream usb port... with the upstream to the comp i have my mouse on a monitor usb port for example...
I'm the same way. I haven't noticed any bad pixels. I think I do have somewhat of a backlight bleed issue...
How does it perform in games? I have an X800se (128mb that came with the dell) right now and there's not too many reviews comparing this card to others.
When I got the 2005fpw I noticed considerable performance drops in any games at 1280x768, and the next res down is 7somethingx4something...
You ordered a 6800 from Dell? I can't seem to find any nvidia cards above a 5700 on the site. I wouldn't normally buy a video card from dell but applying a 25% coupon and possibly a stackable might just push the price down enough...
Probably got one of those 25% coupons off the dellf game + a stackable -~$50. Word is the dellf game at http://dell.eprize.net/dell/dellf/ is giving out 25% off lcd's if you happen to win it. I tried for the first time today and didn't.
If you got that price by other means RMXXXer, please...

I'm extremely curious about this too. I *don't* want the games that are running at a 4:3 resolution, or even normal tv for that matter, to be stretched to the maximum space of the monitor. I'd rather have the black bars and correct aspect ratio. I don't have much experience with lcd's and...
