shall i add another fan?

LOL! :D i reali forgot about that!! so the best way wud be for to make the side panel one an intake and mount another on top for exhaust right. how do i go about to cut the hole for the one on top in the aluminium?

Im runnin a P4 3.0E Prescott with thermaltake spark 7+ HSF, Antec superlan boy case (2x120mm fans, 1 rear and 1 front). my proc temp is between 50 to 60C. im thinkin of adding another fan to the case, adding it to the side panel in front of the proc. wht im thinkin is to jst drill 4 holes for...

P4 3.0E owners!

guys, i recently got a 3.0E 1MB L2. im running it on Intel 865PERL mobo using Thermaltake spark 7+ HSF with the thermal compund that came with it (the shop didnt hav AS5). now im gettin idle temp of 50C with it goin up to around 60C under load. the guys at shop where i bought the mobo n proc...

Is this true?

I have read from a review for the Intel D865PERL mobo given in newegg by someone, that for this mobo you dont need to have the SATA drivers on a floppy when installing XP? does any one else know about this thanx for any help

guys can u help me with this...

hey guys. i first updated the BIOS but there wasnt any change in the temp. so i just went ahead and installed WinXP it went along fine without any probs. I am using an Intel D865PERL MOBO, so with it came intel active monitor software i installed that and from it the temp when the pc is idle...

guys can u help me with this...

guys this time i kept it runnin in the BIOS for bout 5min. when i went to the BIOS from cold start it was 50C it slowly went up to 59C within bout a min. when it went to 59C as u said i put my finger on the HS..it didnt feel even a bit hot! i could feel warm air around it from the fans but...

guys can u help me with this...

do u think that its safe to run at this temp. its 59C a couple of seconds after boot so it will probably go up under load. the temperature here is around 30C or a bit more. and ryt now im not runnin the A/C in the room, only jst a couple of fans. so its pretty warm in here. so that prob...

guys can u help me with this...

iamtrout, i remounted it again went into BIOS and checked. it was at 54C the fan speed was around 2700rpm. after i played around in the BIOS for a couple of seconds it went up to 59C and stayed there, the fan was runnin at around 2900rpm. even after restart it was at 59C. wht do u think? ill...

guys can u help me with this...

when i saw the temperature in BIOS i booted up a second time n it still was the same so i turned it off. ill try mounting again and check...will let u know. i sure hope its not dead! hehe

guys can u help me with this...

I jst took of the HSF checked it, there was the imprint on the thermal paste in the HS and most of the thermal paste is on the processor now. i remounted the HSF, booted up and checked the BIOS to see the temperature..it showed around 94C!! whts happenin here?
