How to get mpeg-2/4 clips from a DVD

Thanks Bamacre, I was hoping there was a program like DVD shrink where you could go in and preview the movie in a small window and select areas to rip. I guess I will tyr it your way until someone suggests anything easier/better. Thanks Shoe

How to unlock Pipelines and Vertex Shader on a 6800 (nu/le/gs)

If, after unlocking the final 4 pixel pipelines and restarting, all I get is a black screen with mouse cursor on it, do I assume that the 4 pipelines are non-functional? Or is there something else wrong, or that I can do? I have the vertex shader unlocked, but if I unlock the pixel pipe lines...

Can't Play DVD's in New Rig

CT Surg, I have both my lite-on CDRW and the DVD burner on the same IDE cable, the CDRW is the master and the DVD burner is the slave. DMA 2 is enabled. I can use the drive to burn a DVD and copy a DVD to the hardrive, I just can't play a DVD movie. Thanks for all the ideas, MOPARManga...

Uhhh, Bozo I don't understand. Thats a link to DVD region issues. Thats not the problem. I have all region 1 DVDs, I have a home region 1 DVD player and a region 1 Computer DVD-/+R/RW reader, recorder. Thats not the problem.

OLDER GAMES CRASH ON A64'S???

I had a similar problem with UT2004. Your problem may also be with the Nvidia drivers causing problems. Follow this link to a possible fix. It worked for me, I updated to the 67.03 drivers and changed the statement they mention in the boot.ini file. Gaming problem link Good luck,

NOOB OCing questions and Thanks....

Here is what I have now: Max Memoryclock set at 166 HTT at 240 memory 2-3-3-5 at 2T VCore at 1.525v, but CPU-Z is only showing 1.40v??? WHats up with that? Any other suggestions?

Yea, thats what I was thinking... In two years the 939 socket and athlon64 may be the 996 and the Athlon128+...my PCIe motherboard then becomes useless, just like the nForce3 MB.
