No Bios screen

I have a Raidmax 868 Mid tower with the cpu the same PSU that came with the case, 420w.

No Bios screen

I have a 420w power suply, and I thought that could have possibly been the problem. The 6800 Gt only requires a 350w. I have a dedicated line going to the video card, hooked to nothing else in the Pc. Also the fan on the card spins. Could it be the Agp slot?

I just built my new computer Amd Athlon 64 3500 Abit K8t Pro mother board (939) eVGA 6800 Gt 1Gb Cosair Ram When I hit the power button (I have my moniter pluged in into the 6800 Gt) I get no bios screen or anything on the moniter. All the fans are spinning, all the case lights are on...

How many of you are waiting for PCI-E and how many are building now?

Waiting for Nfroce4 mobo, hopefully the 6800gt will drop for Pci-e. Any one have any idea when the Nf4 mobos are coming out? I have seen a few diffrent dates.

Final Decision

Well I really wan't a 6800gt for pcie (I am decided on Pci-e), but there is no way I am paying 500.00 for one. Think when the Nforce4 mobos get released that the price will drop? I was also thinking I might beable to get a 6600gt and upgrade in 1 1/2-2 years.

Final Decision

I know the Nfroce mobo's won't be coming out for a while, but should I get the Agp8x system, or just wait for the Pci-e. Not afraid to wait for performance.

I am building a new Pc and am stuck with a decsion, between to machines. The 6800gt is 400 for agp8x, and is around 500 for Pci-e. I am not paying 500.00 for a video card, so if I got Pci-e I would get a 6600gt. Please help me decide between the two systems, and if I should wait. Agp8x...
