AMD Opteron 146 2.0GHz CPU 940 VS 146 939

*HELP* BFG 6800GT not power up at startup, takes several restarts *ARRGG*

check ur ram, i had set that my mobo was not happy with. changed it and no problem, my sli used the top slot for single card.

6800nu vs. 6800gt

i would consider the GT. maybe the 3dmarks show a few fps difference. but in source it big difference. fps is almost half i had both. till the big switch to pci-e, the 6800 nu with all on high was about 60-70 fps. the GT with same specs were 120-130 fps. and u wont have any problems playing BF2...

3500+ or 3800+

go with the 3500+ folks been running fine, and oc'ing fine. dont pay the extra. i have 3400 i am happy, hit 58k aqua mark stock. good luck with everone u choose!

Still having a problem with computer

was having bout same problem, i tryed different slots for ram and helped, used 1-3 for dual, works great in 1-2. hope this might help.

Which mobo to get

i can only say the neo mobo will work great with ur bfg 6800 gt. i have the 6800 ultra now and neo2 mobo amd 3200, wit a gig of geil ram. no problems rock solid. dont oc so dont know how board will perform. easy up dates with msi program. i can say u wont go wrong with either. good luck.

cool and quiet can be turned off with my mobo one throught bios, other start=all programs msi to core system. can set up there. will check into why no bus speed. good luck peace

start over, dont over clock cpu and vid card. turn down the setting on card. cool n quite off, will cause stuttering with hl2, did for me. have u made any adjustments in game console on either game. my bud tryed some tweaks from board told him and slowed him down greatly. good luck. u should be...
