I just recently bought one and have had next to no problems. I am very happy with it. You just really need to make sure when you first build and install OS to run everything default as it comes, no agressive timings etc.
Attached is a screenshot with memory usage of EQ2 and the reason why I need 2gig of ram.
I have like 2x1gig Curical ram on the way so it will be all good, but at the moment with 1gig of ram my HDD is paging like a #$%@ EQ2 is the only game i know that does this.

I picked up one last night and it was compatible. Had the 1.3 bios :)
Didn't have any major problems with my install either and i was using a 3200....now have it overclocked to 2.2 no vcore increase at all :)
The guys at the shop I got mine from knew of the problem as well.
I also had a problem with the Neo2 and leaving a disk in the DVD Drive. This only occured using a Pioneer 120s Dvdrom. If I left the disk in the drive, windows would BOSD and reboot when it tried to load. Also when putting a disk into the drive in windows it would sometimes BOSD.
What to do? I have been reading alot of posts on various forums about the Dual Channel problems with using 4 dimms. The fact it likes to clock the FSB back to 166 when you put 4 dimms in. There have been other posts that say 4 dimms work at 200 fsb Dual Channel and that you set the 2T command...
