Bad_Dude; Yes I've populated all 4 DIMMS with OCZ Plat EB @ 2.5-3-2-8, ran DDR400 without a problem, except that I bought the XP-120 and an Ultra XConnect p/s. Bad combination due to layout of the board. I'm also running the latest Jan05 bios. End-result, XP120 only :) Cannot fit ram...

FYI: Soltek SLK8TPro-939 & XP-120

I emailed , regarding a few issues, one was that my OCZ ram won't do anything other than Auto (which Everest shows at 2T), 1T just halts the machine, even at it's stock timings and no overclock. The second was the well-known temperature issue, false reports, etc. I don't generally believe...

FYI: Soltek SLK8TPro-939 & XP-120

Just an FYI ladies and gents: The ThermalRight XP-120 fits fine on my SLK8TPro-939, no bending of caps or obstruction of DIMM slots, however I'd advise filling the RAM prior, since it may be a bit tough otherwise to put a DIMM with a heatspreader inside afterwards. Temperatures for an A64...

Go with the DFI, it's cheaper and faster, plus NF3. Asus is K8T8P (they don't have an NF3 yet). As well, ALL S754 will be the 130nm process, only the S939's are being fabricated in 90nm now (as well as in 130nm, at least until sometime next year). As for cooling.. two fans, 1 in , 1...
