Modding my cases

Dremel works great, even for cutting blowholes. You just have to have a steady hand. Practice on some scrap for a bit before making any "real" cuts. If you can figure out how to rotate the dremel around the hole that you are cutting, as you are cutting it, you can make an almost...

Enlight 7237 Mod Idea

This is the same idea I (surely didn't) "invent" a couple months ago. I looked at that piece of plastic above the clip on the bezel (when it is attachted to the front of the case), and thought, "what good is that thing doing?" I calculated that getting rid of it completely...

Anyone put two 92mm fans in an Enlight 7237?

Uh, I don't think a hole saw will work, since there is probably nothing for the center arbor to grab hold of. I don't think enlarging the hole much is necessary either, especially beyond the scope of a dremel. Enlarge the bezel holes to 3/8" or 1/4" if you don't think it will look...

TTT Anyone have pictures of this? I'm sure it can be done. Is the bezel just sort of hanging there with this setup? Is a 90mm fan best? Show us what you have done...

How to make a duct to draw outside air for a HSF?

Johncar, that is my question: How do you actually connect a duct to the fan? What material could/should the duct be made of? Is a second fan mounted at the mouth of the duct a good idea? How did anyone else solve these problems?

Just how cheap will ram get?

Whitedog- how bout those C64 days when a 20 MB hard drive set you back a grand? About $50 per MB! Man oh man how things have changed since then: circa 1986: 1 MHz CPU 64 K(!) RAM 300 baud (that is BITS per second- you could read faster than that) dial up modem speed 20 MB hard drive cost...

How to make a duct to draw outside air for a HSF?

It seems to me that making a fairly simple duct to draw cool air from outside the case would be a much better (quieter, cheaper) way of dropping core temps than adding more fans. I have an Enlight 7237, and an FOP32-1 heatsink. The heatsink fan is 60 mm (duh). I am brainstorming cheap ways...

A good place to buy Enlight 7237's?

I just ordered the 7237 with 300 watt PS from cpusolutions.com. It was $72 after shipping, and arrived only 2 days after I ordered it. It has the extra fan mount below the power supply.
