Old AMD SocketA mainboard problem - Asus A7V333

I havn't got any friends with that old material - and this was my only one that's that old with a CPU installed. Even tried about 12 shops, their stock is quite exhausted too, with launch of Sempron and all... |@# Sempron compatibility ! I got an old Leadtek Winfast nForce2 mainboard...

A64 mainboard with PCI-e recommendation plz?

Hm, and ok - I don't like recommending 1st revision boards that havn't been tested thoroughly. Recommended a MSI a64 board. Most ppl upgrade their mainboard anyway when upgrading other key components - I mostly do that too.

Hi, I have to recommend a socket 939 mainboard with PCI-e to someone, but I didn't have time to read up on this the last weeks. Can someone give me a brief update and maybe some links? Or what you think is the best one, and why you think this... Tnx in advance!

Haha, well put ^_^ Hm, if you really want to -paint- it that badly, get a crappy old mainboard and try to figure out how to disconnect the PCI slot from the mainboard. De-solder every part, I guess... Or, you can make some kind of mold to put in there. The hard part is, you have to...

Old AMD SocketA mainboard problem - Asus A7V333

Hi all! I've got a problem with some old Asus A7V333. The original CPU was fried (tried it in some other mainboards, no luck). The Asus webby told me that my revision of mainboard (PCB 1.01) doesn't support 333MHz FSB (althoug hthe name is A7V333... sigh), so I looked for a pre-sempron...
