Reliable HDD?

It's like it's always been, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't touch a WD "Green" drive with a 10 foot pole. No advertised RPM speed, crap warranty, mediocre reviews. The WD Blacks have 5 year warranties, cost more, and perform better than the Greens.

U2410 too hot. Looking for replacement with same quality.

A monitor just doesn't get that hot unless it's malfunctioning. They get warm, yes (as in, you can feel warmth putting your hand on the top-back of the monitor) but they don't get so hot as to cause a significant, or even noticeable, issue with ambient temperature. If the monitor is very hot...

What is your HTML performance 2D

My EVGA RMA experience...

Well I got the new card today, another 9800 GTX+ with a vanilla 9800 GTX part number. It works (thank god). Though I am concerned that the fan runs at 100% (according to GPU-Z) and is quite loud. It idles at 62c even with the fan full blast. But I guess it works, though I have yet to try it...

Yeah, they didn't offer me another 550 Ti. They just told me I'd be getting another 9800 GTX. I just had questions about the 550 Ti, to which the Level 2 tech was a prick to me about.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering ASUS when "Big Kepler" comes out, which is when I'll be doing a system overhaul. This is really making me think twice about EVGA, what with all the praising that was done about them over the years, I thought I couldn't go wrong.

Latest Nvidia Geforce drivers

It sounds like you're using the 91.31 driver, which has the SLi popup bug, Upgrade to a later driver (XG 91.45 is my personal favorite) and that will be fixed. Also, at least with the XG drivers, there IS an option to switch back to the Classic Control Panel (which I personally prefer). Hope...

Good Drivers for my 7900GT?

IMO, 91.45 is the best. You can't run them without a modded INF, but I suggest taking a look at www.tweaksrus.com and giving the XG 91.45's a try ;) .

Dell has a tendancy to underclock its cards (save for the higher end ones). I really don't know why, as all its really doing is robbing people of performance that they COULD have... However, it's likely safer on Dell's part if cards are very conservatively clocked for the mainstream market as...

NVIDIA 6800GT

I have to agree. The jump I went to from a GeForce FX 5700 Ultra to my 6800GT was astounding, LOL. Even after over a year having it, I can still play games at reasonable quality\speed, which I couldn't do even less than 6 months after I bought the 5700. I'll most likely be building another...

Dell Inspiron 9300 with GeForce 6800 Go

I have the Go6800 (non-Ultra) in my Dell i9300, and I do have to say, that with a bit of overclocking, the Go6800 can hold it's own. At it's stock speeds of 290\295(590), it's kinda slow. BUT, I've overclocked mine to 360\360(720), and it runs just great, with 3DMark05, I get around 4200...
