True, and the Muj is about to lose control in Iran. When Iraq topples we will see a domino effect. I've seen several interviews with Iranians that are thrilled the US has got the guts to take on Iraq, knowing what will happen in Iran.
They have chemical weapons suits. They have pills despensed to soldiers to stop the effects of nerve gas. We have captured weapons that could be used in the dispersal of various chemical and biological includeing drone aircraft that could be used AND we have thousands of gallons on various WMDs...
The exclusion of soldier or civilian would not matter. The "winds of war" would take on a whole new meaning. The equipment would indeed be contaminated. Thousands of gallon of water would be needed just to deal with a small release. That is not available.
Saddam knows this. Thousands will die...
And very few can even talk with any intelligence at all! However, being against the war is one thing. Liberals HATE BUSH! How DARE a Conservative President do the things he campaigned on. How DARE he push through the legislation he said he would! They thought when Reagan retired they had won...

It has been established that France has economic ties with Iraq that are very deep. France was against Gulf1 until the day before the invasion.
They helped Saddam build a nuclear power plant and violate UN sanctions with their trade policies towards Iraq.

No links, but I have heard interviews given by two Canadien Nato Peace Keepers that claim that UN troops are prevented from stopping and conflict without authorization.
They claimed hearing shooting and after a request to investigate, were denied. Later investigation showed many civilians dead...

Without the power of the US Military, which is unequaled, there would be THOUSANDS of non-combatants killed. It is the technology provided by the US taxpayer that makes this war, and the liberation of Iraq possible.

I just found out that one of my nephews is 50 miles from Bagdad....the other is on a carrier just off the coast of Iraq. A neice has just joined the Marines and is headed to basic.
