Check out this link to Newegg. Ive got the Biostar 210p but I dont know much about the other two. The Biostar is very nice except its temperature monitoring doesnt work with windows so it tends to be a bit louder unless you change out the fans. Let me know if you want any more info.

A little wifi problem FIXED

Fard nailed what I was saying about the radio. If its an intel adapter it should be labled "Radio Enable/Disable" under the advanced tab. Hope it helps.

How good / bad are the current Apple iBooks?

the primary memory slot is fixed, cant access it. i was talking about the secondary slot which I think will handle up to 1GB stick if need be. when you add the ram you dont break any seals, remove stickers, etc so i dont think you void warrenty. cant speak on the battery life, no 14" to...

How good / bad are the current Apple iBooks?

they definitly need more memory. i would throw another 512 in. remove keyboard, take out wifi card and holder (4 really really small skrews, eyeglass size) and drop it in. 10 minute job max, just make sure you get a really small skrew driver. edit: also a good idea to remove battery first

this may not be what your looking to do but you could always try and find a docking station. i know some people who have broken the charging assembly on their IBMs and have just used them hooked to a docking station. kinda defeats the purpose of having a laptop though. who knows, you might...

Choose one of these 3 SFF systems

Personally I own an iDeq 210p and really like the design Biostar put into their SFFs. The Epox is in my opinion ugly and since I have my SFF on my desktop I dont want some fugly thing sitting up there. I would research a bit considering your planning on putting 2 HD in because of heat issues...

Stupid question on the SN85G4v3

If your buying the SN85G4v3 retail it will come with the ICE cooler and there is not need to spend the extra money on a retail processor with what will essentially be a useless fan. Buy the OEM one and save a few bucks. IF the Shuttle is a refurb there is a chance the ICE cooler may not come...

Bios Not Detecting SATA

jefers. ive got a 210p and the SATA is not independently identified within the BIOS. Within the BIOS you will notice there are four IDE channels. IDE 0,1,2,3 with channel 2 and 3 being the SATA devices. Boot to bios. Select Advanced BIOS Features -> Boot Seq & Floppy Setup -> First Boot...

Martin damn you i think ive been swayed. The big problem is going to be getting his hands on a 6800GT APG. But then your right, a 875 mobo with DDR1 and a 6800GT could end up alot less expensive and with little performance difference. Bottom line, listen to this guy.

If he is looking for a socket 775 proc he is going to most likely be limited to DDR2 RAM. I know the benchmarks dont show perfomance increase over DDR1 but he may not have a choice given the 925X chipset he wants to use. I would also say going with an APG graphics card isnt the smartest...
