Another flaw in these comparisons is that they're based purely on MPG and what car is the best if you want cheapest + highest MPG combo.
Well most people I know don't buy cars like that. They look at what they can afford then try to maximize what they can get for that money.
They say, well I...
You neglect to mention that the Prius is a much roomier car than the Elantra.
Elantra: compact class weighs about 2700 pounds
Prius: mid-size class (bordering on full size) weighs 3,000+ pounds
So the Prius is a bigger, heavier car that gets gets over 40% better MPG.
Why don't you do a little research instead of whining on the internet about how there's no legit use for that many rounds of ammo? No you have no clue what it takes to ensure we have highly trained federal law enforcement agents and apparently you can't be bothered to lift a finger & find out...
negatives about most aquatic "farms"
- lots of pollution - runoff, wastewater, etc
- fish are fed unnatural diets, including grain & ground up fish bits. result is higher mercury concentrations and lower omega-3 fatty acid ratios.
the healthiest (for you and the environment) and tastiest...
I learned a lot from this site, and I will miss it should it be taken offline. I think everyone who appreciates quiet yet powerful computers owes Mike Chin a debt of gratitude. Sure, others have contributed to the quiet computing movement but the contributions that MikeC has made are wide...
There are thousands of kids in this country that need tutoring and mentoring... and yet you fly halfway around the world?
I guess the slums in america don't have camels. Enjoy your African vacation.
Do you also run a 4.4 40 (or 1.5 10) like elite athletes? These guys get to top speed in two strides and can redirect with amazing quickness. I think you underestimate how much height can be gained by someone with that kind of burst in their legs.
This thread is a troll trainwreck but for learning purposes anyone really considering this course of action should consider the following:
1) Your medical bills may be zero now, but what will they be when you are scooting around and get creamed by a drunk in a F-350?
2) Also in reference to...
so your reason for putting cabinets in first is that its easier... and your criticism of putting the floor down first is that the only reason to do it is that its easier.
face it, you'd rather have it easy as the cabinet guy and toss stuff around the site while making it harder on the...
It's my understanding that the cabinets (and appliances like dishwasher, stove, etc) should sit on a finished floor. It's how all those systems are designed. Re-doing the floor after the cabinets are in is the wrong way to go, IMO.
Northern VA pretty much meets your criteria, except for getting hotter in the summer than you'd prefer and a bit colder in the winter.
Perhaps somewhere a little further south like Charlotte, NC. Summer's aren't particularly hotter but winters are much milder. Not sure about the Skiing in that...
It's not just about minimizing interest paid, its about managing cash flow. Ramsey's system is intended for people who have extremely tight monthly budgets due to having a bunch of debts with minimum payments. They barely have more cash available each month than their minimum payments. So...
my place is about 1500 sqft of living space, including a partially finished basement, And it doesn't seem small to me except the Living/Dining could be a little more spacious, but I have a huge rec room so its not a big deal.
Kitchen = 160
Living/Dining = 240
BR1 = 135
BR2 = 120
BR3 = 95
BA1 =...
A fair # of tiny weak conferences still get their championship team into the NCAA tournament. Same applies here. Basically the #1-4 seeds get an easy win
BTW there are only 11 FBS conferences. So 11 auto-bids and 5 at-large wildcards. Independent teams (Notre Dame, BYU, Army, Navy) would...
My rent (property taxes & mortgage interest) is something like $1300/mo for a 3BR townhouse in the DC metro area. Of course my mortgage payments are higher than that, counting principal.
Actually the short magazine along with that stock make the weapon look a lot sleeker than what you'd normally see with an AR-15.
Also it's a nice symmetry - soldiers get 10 trigger pulls per magazine with their M-16's and so do you. (of course they are firing 3 round bursts...)
Interesting that you describe 300 feet as "quite a good distance". That's like 1-2 blocks, it's not very far at all.
The kids in my neighborhood almost all walk to the bus stop. There's usually 1-2 parents who drive and/or walk over to keep an eye on the younger kids. The older kids are...
Have you actually called your health insurance provider to ask how much maternity they will cover? I think you've got to be misinterpreting your plan or you just have some kind super-minimal catastrophic care only type of plan.
And what state do you live in that supplemental insurance is...
two weeks really isn't a lot of time.
I would focus on technique and definitely get your butt on the track for some 300's. 2 milers and bike "sprints" don't really prepare you except for cardiovascular fitness. You need to get on the track and do some time trials to figure out what kind of...
Not to burst your bubble, but EmergenC is loaded with Vitamin B6 and B12, just like the 5-Hour Energy shots. You're basically taking a half of a 5-Hour Energy shots in the morning & in the evening every day. It's no wonder you feel like you have less energy when you don't take all your supplements.
