Horror story. Is my brand new A8N $2400 rig toast?

I haven't had a problem with the OCZ on my A8N-sli system. Did you try using one stick of OCZ at a time? Maybe you have one bad stick.

what psu for a8n-sli deluxe is everyone using?

Antec Smartpower 350 watt PSU that came with my Antec BQE case. (I'm running a single 6600GT only, not SLI) The PSU isn't 24 pin, but I simply left the 4 extra pins open and had zero problems. No converter necessary.

Hmm, I thought a Hypertransport setting over 1,050 or so was unstable. The screenshot shows yours is set at over 1,100. Have you noticed the same problems if you lower the HTT multi to 4x? (sorry if this was mentioned at one point. This topic is a bit long.)

Nforce4 and PCI & SATA lock???

It might be that people aren't paying attention to the HTT. You need to keep it around 1000 to keep things stable, which means lowering the HT multiplier when you increase the FSB.

Buy.com tends to get things about a week or two after the dedicated shops, so I'd guess early January at this point (assuming the other retailers get their boards before year's end, which isn't necessarily true).
