The Economist I receive The Economist, Fortune and Foreign Affairs (more journal-like). I tend to toss Fortune to the side and prefer The Economist. Foreign Affairs comes once every two months, and it's different, so you can't compare it, but I think it's a good addition to news.

i might give them another chance depending on the situation, but even if I did, I would never ever trust them the way I did in the first place. cheating and child-abandoning, i don't think I would. cheating is just bound to happen again, and I can't think of a good reason to literally "abandon"...

Poll: Worst quality name brand clothing

My vote goes for Mexx. Some of their things look nice on people who aren't into baggy clothes, but their fabrics are horrible. Except for one linen dress shirt that I got from them which seems to have held up well, although I doubt that that was their intention.

Boot problem with USB cable modem

no man, you need make sure you're using a GOLD-PLATED usb cable, like the 30 dollar ones from Best Buy or Staples or whatever. you get what you pay for, and in this case, the electrons aren't going all through as they should, but a gold-plated cable will have much BETTER electron flow...

i went to a seminar like that at my school, and it was actually good. it was given by a guy who does a lot of hiring at IBM up here in Canada, and he gave us some very good advice.

Why do people treat bandwidth like it's a depletable resource...

that pisses me off. I mean yes it's good to keep your cell phone use within limits. But if a friend wants to use one minute of my airtime, I'd rather pay the 15 or 20 cents on my bill than look like a cheapskate.
