The WCG bunny race teams challenge runs from 1st-23rd March and the Poem-athon challenge at Poem@home runs from 24th-31st March...

Starting up a new forum for ALL Boinc users regardless of team/projrect choices.
Hoping to create a fun place where folk can shoot the breeze.brag of milestones/issue individual and team challenges etc......generally have fun.
Anyway, I hope some of you find it worthwhile and...
Think I'm done competing......we are 7th for the day now and that's as high as we'll ever get without a massive userbase increase.
Time to wind down the competing and start just crunching personal favourites, may not be our teams view but for now it's mine.:)

My Sony Vaio has run beautifully for the best part of 3 years and for the last 5 months has run UD 24/7 without a hiccup.
I would buy another Vaio tomorrow if they had a decent A64 model.

I would suggest getting the best psu you can afford and you can enjoy the knowledge that you have power in reserve.
You could do with a minimum of 18A for the +12v rail just for running a basic A64 system.....something like 28A and you know you are good for the long term.
