It is suppose to be noisy, also some people say they have had problems with the print heads drying out after a couple days without printing... Other than that good printer, especially for text...

Any opinion on the resolution of 15" IBM screens...?

Today I compared SXGA, to XGA, and found XGA a lot nicer, but still found that the extra money is not worth it for me individually... Thank you anyway....

Another thing, the lower resolution runs more economical, about 1 hour more battery life... Actually one more reason to stick to a 350? cheaper notebook... 1350 versus 1700 1.3 vs. 1.4 (don't care) xga vs. sxga (???) 256 vs. 512 (would be nice) 6.1h vs. 5h (definitely 6h) man it is not easy...

Thanks for all the replies, at the moment I run a 17 CRT at 1024x768 (Flatron 775FT), and I find it works fairly well... So if I had that much of a desktop on the laptop it would be great... Thanks for all your replies.... So I might get the more expencive one...

So you tell me to go with sxga, right? I am still not really sure, since I haven't seen any... But I am tending to go with the R40 with the xga, since it is much cheaper..

Problems with P4C800E Deluxe and Gbit LAN

That is the problem, I hooked up the dsl modem to the lan port... Well if I would use a seperate nic, would this work? Then the next time I come home, I just take a nic with me back to university... Thanks...

Well, I checked th bios, and found that it is already disabled, so I enabled it, booted in windows, and had to wait even longer... I start to think that this is a software problem eiter windows or the driver... Thanks anyway, would be nice if I could get this to work,,,

Hi, I am having trouble with my mainboard and my onboard Intel LAN device. Whenever I connect something to the onboard NIC, and start the computer, it takes 2 minutes after the desktop came up to access the LAN or do anything... Programs that autostart take a 2 minute break and the computer...

Abit NF7-S owners, please help with SATA hard drive!

I went ahead and installed winXP. When XP said windows may not install properly, I basically told windows to go ahead and try. I figured I could reformat the disk if it didn't install properly. After I installed windows, I went into the bios and made the serial ATA controller the first boot...

this is what I did to get to this point......made the A-drive, first boot.......cd-rom, next......then ATA thingy instead of Hard drive for 3d boot........then I restarted with the Max Blast version 3.6 in the floppy.......there I was able to install the SATA driver........................then...

when I restart.......after the words "verifying DMI Pool Data" the message NTLDR is missing comes up and I am told to press Ctrl+Alt+Del............I can't get any farther than that. I have never been able to install windows XP yet.....that is because windows can't find my hard drive to...

I haven't been able to install windows due to this NTLDR message.........sometimes I press any key to boot from cd-rom and windows tries to install. But it stops and says it doesn't detect any hard drive.

I just changed the boot up to serial ata........restarted.......got a message NTLDR is missing.......one other thing.......I can't get the bios to detect this hard drive. Could that be my problem? If the bios can't detect the hard drive, can give me a suggestion on how to do that?

Hi, I have a feeling, that they are labled wrong in my manual, since colors of the wires (of the included firewire connector) don't match with the colors of the case port. Can anybody help? Thank you
