Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. The back story to this is that I am using parts left over from a gaming pc upgrade. In just completed that upgrade and this is certainly not the first build i have done. Hence was don't think I made any of those rookie mistakes as not applying thermal paste...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I tried the VGA port, but then the monitor remains completely off. I tried clearing the cmos with power off, but didn't help either. I resigned myself to purchasing a low end gpu and abandon this no graphic card endeavour. It would have been good to get it to...

Help picking a mobo for 3770k Ivy

Gaming Benchmarks on Vista vs. XP

I did a few benchmarks of 3Dmar05/06, and Im getting better results on XP than Vista. I assume its due to driver support for the most part.

Anybody having problems Overclock w/Vista

No probs' here. E6600 running @ 3.428Ghz on both Vista and XP Stable. im also on G.Skill ram 2gb@ 4-4-4-12.

Seagate 300GB SATA HDD, $99.99

I jumped on this deal like 1.5 months ago, it seemd like a good deal. But, with tax it was like $168 shipped, and there still was the risk of the rebate. Then, after reading some lackluster reviews on these 300GB SATA Seagate hard drives i've deciced to cancel the order.
