TWO PC SET UPS

correct me if im wrong but would the first setup with a 6800 or 6800GT be close to the price of the second setup?

My PC has major problems

this happened to me when i had a cheap ECS K7S5A mobo.. also, if you have a spare power supply try that out.. but my fingers point to the power supply or the mobo... and yes, give specs as well

Would this upgrade be worth it?

id say if your coming from a 9200 get a 'double radeon' 9600 as you might say (XT), or at least a 9700 pro

Where's the bottleneck?

i agree with dc5, if you want to just fix your gaming bottleneck get the 6600gt, otherwise, dont hesitate to go with an Athlon64 if you decide to spend.... also id fix the 512K ram line in your sig :)

Minimize Ghosting on my Samsung 710T LCD

not too cold.... the games were TFC and Q3, fast paced games now that i think of it the fps was always 100+ and im pretty sure i tried it without vsync Edit: Excelsior, have aim? just want to ask u a few things about the monitor..

Athlon 2800+

id say go for it.. don't bother dropping back to 32-bit... if longhorn actually goes well then youll be maximizing the 64 bit capabilities and thanking yourself you didnt go 32 bit :)

what mobo for A64 3000+ ?

i would definitely say the Abit KV8 Pro, its great for overclocking as you can see in my signature.. you might be able to find it around $90.. it was on the hardocp must buy list... i am extremely satisfied..

Why does my 100Mbps/s connection only get 50+Mbps?

have you tried cat6 wire/gigabit wire (i think they are the same).. if its available to you give it a shot to see if you can find out whats slowing you down

Hard drive problem

i honeslty couldnt get anythign from that mp3 but when this happens, does your system hang.. and when it clicks, is it at a constant beat or does it vary... if your comp hangs and its at a constant rate and its relatively loud, as if you were lightly tapping a pen on a desk...then that could be...

Is this system any good?

i approve as well, what core is the 3400+ because you do know you can save money by oc'ing the 3000's on the kv8 pro.. mine is newcastle

true, i just realized i never ran refreshlock when i tested it out with games, so maybe that 60 to 75hz jump will make a difference?

yeah it was 1280x1024 on dvi... are you sure you dont see any ghosting.. at all? bc i was somewhat surprised

Minimize Ghosting on my Samsung 710T LCD

Hi... heres my story with my samsung 710t (http://product.samsung.com/cgi...;selTab=Specifications) the monitor is for christmas, but I got a chance to test it out to 'make surethere were no dead pixels'... all i basically did was plug the monitor in and run a few games... no dead pixels but...
