well, doens't seem like it likes dynamic disks either. =\ the partitions show up in the program, but everything is gray'ed out besides the image buttton.
maybe i'll have to do some kind of ghosting if possible...
current layout.
Windows 2000 server
4 HDDs dynamic disk.
2 x 18GB HDDs (raid1)
- split into C:\(4gb) and D:\ (14gb)
2 x 36gb HDDs (raid1)
- F:\ (36gb)
what i want to do is copy partition D:\ to F:\. Then after the
partition is copied, i want to merge C:\ and D:\. Then i will rename...
so i called symantec.. and they said that if i used partition magic pro 7.0 that win2k server would error out!? so they would recommend Volume Manager!? anyone have comments on that...

2x 18GIG scsi HDDs partitioned. at 4gig and 14gig and bot hare raid1(mirror)
the 4gig is the OS(C:\). and the 14gig is the data for applications and personal files(autocad drawlings etc.) (D:\)
so we picked up 2 36gig scsi hds. because the 4gig...

i'm using firefox actually... ;) i don't think i can put myself up to $500 for a video card .. hehe
i see 6800's cards all over but no 6800GT pci-e. ... maybe i'll just pick up a SAPPHIRE RADEON X800 PRO PCI EXPRESS 256MB OEM ... just saw a few on pricewatch for around $415. I would asume a X800 vs 6800GT are about same speeds... i heard the x800 actually is a bit better on that hl2 engine....

when all the screws are in.. it lines up pretty good. but then the mobo won't fit..
