It looks like the OEM drives are sold out at at newegg and the code doesn't apply to the retail version.
Anyone want to sell me the extra (unopened) one they bought?

brilliant plan, just tried it myself.
problems: Dell can't match the price, and there is tax (is that only for Texas residents?) making the price 323.41 - 100 = 223.41 shipped.
