Mobo to go with Q6600?

I have a buddy who saw the recent price cuts and it interested in building a new system around a Q6600. Any advice on what motherboard he should pair with it? System will mostly be used for poker and multi-tasking other things while playing poker. Almost certain SLI will never be needed, but...

Just make sure you think about the weight when the batteries are in it. I tested a few wireless mice out at my local best buy and remember thinking they felt lighter than I originally thought... Then I realized why...

Yes, I was thinking about asking for opinions on the Thermaltake fans the can add, if they are even worth it... Thermaltake A1772 Thermaltake A1838 Thermaltake Venus 7+ Any experiences with any of these on an A8N?

What Makes a PSU SLI Compatible? Got Answers Here!

So what has been determined here is that there are no power supplies out yet that have 24+ amps on a 12v rail and the 6-pin connectors for PCI-e cards? That is unfortunate...

Monarch Pre-Tested and Set-up?

I was pricing parts for the SLI system I am planning on building next week and I came across Monarch's pre-tested board, cpu, memory combo and wondered if anyone had experience with it. They will even add thermal grease and Thermaltake fan for me... hehe, I know, I'm being lazy... I don't...

ASUS A8N SLI DELUXE

What about the Asus board not being able to overclock higher than the 240-245 range? From what I can tell the jury is still out on whether this could be fixed with a bios update. If not then it would seem another board might be better for someone hoping to OC. Opinions?
