I've been traveling for over a month now... make it stop

I think I know why this thread is so long. It's like watching a car crash. You can't just look away and half the time you just want to laugh at your excuses and antics. You've shown you can take risks but helpful advice from many here is beyond you. You'll learn eventually.

You can try switching the wireless internet transmission frequency to a higher band - 5 GHz, I believe. Microwaves operate at a lower freq of 2.5 GHz usually.

What is wrong with you? Would you say that all boys like X or Y. No, so what about girls? Figure out what she likes, not what all girls supposedly like, and give it to her.

Conflict between rich and poor strongest in 24 years

They're not directing their anger in the wrong place. They're skipping the middleman Congress and going right to the ones writing and lobbying the laws ie controlling Congress through money - Wall Street and major corporations.

    When someone says "Thank You!"

Why do you care about this? There's never been a social standard for the saying after thank you. I'm not sure if one could be even implemented or is necessary. You must be bored.

I just love how some people try to delegitimize the movement by calling them hippies. Most of the critics are of the sort that don't give a fuck once they got theirs.

Anybody good with Distributed Circuit models & Electromagnetics?

I've taken basic transmission line theory but I'm not familiar with models referenced in 2 and 3. It's a bit weird Zo isn't included. For 1, however, if they want you to convert the trans. line model into lumped circuit equivalent, the signal has to be at specific frequency which translates into...

After plugging in different poles and higher order poles, the function works for all iterations of poles given there are no zeros
  31. A

    Solved. Thanks artikk!

DON'T FORGET TO DO THIS FIRST. Save the code as .m file with filename given by the function name("pole_to_tf.m" in this case) and set path to it by going to File>Set Path... Now here's the function's code: function [tf_out] = pole_to_tf(poles) %Calculates transfer function given %inputs...

    Solved. Thanks artikk!

The code that you showed does this already as a final step. Are you talking about making a custom function that uses the code above to output what you want? Because that would be really pointless just to save a couple of lines of code.

    Solved. Thanks artikk!

    You should have googled more. Anyway, here's my final response. z = vector of zeros, form: z=[x y z]; In your case make it empty, e.g. z=[]; p=vector of poles, form: p=[x y z]; k=overall system gain, make it=1; [num,den] = zp2tf(z,p,k) then transform into transfer function sys=tf(num, den);

The quiz thread. Test your knowledge.

Correct but without a valid reason. The reason there's no limit to wavelength or frequency is because of the red and blue shift effects. Depending on if an object is accelerating away or towards you the light emitted can scale up or down in wavelength. A possible limit for wavelength is size of...
