You shouldn't need to install any raid drivers...if this were the problem Windows wouldn't see the drive to begin with. I would check your bios and make sure the SATA is allowed boot priority over IDE and that it is set as the primary boot device.

I've been unable to ensure that this board has a pci/agp lock. I know that SATA drives are really touchy about bus speed, and if I try to make this mark, the FB is going to have to hit 230 or so. It will be air cooled with a Zaleman 7000 cu. Its an f0 step.

What a useless response to my question.
The point I was trying to make is that I'm not a gammer, and I multitask with several office and graphics programs, and in this scenario Intel is the better processor. If I were a gamer, then I would also pick AMD for it's superior...
Need to replace my dead Intel Board. Currently have a NW 2.6 and wouldn't mind a slight overclock. Have to ensure that the PCI/AGP lock works as I'm running SATA Drives.
