Is a $600 2005fpw (20.1" Widescreen LCD) really worth it?

I can never give up my crap ass KB. I love the crispness and crackaly sound of the keys. Its about a 15 year old IBM KB with NO WINDOWS KEYS (big point here to, hate them things)

RAM running @ 1T

I use 1T on my Mushkin value ram 2x512MB. I have fairly loose timings otherwise though (at work, dont recall offhand what they are)

BFG GeFoce 6800

I have the BGF 6800GT OC model. WoW and HL2 both run at 1680x1050 widescreen with all visual settings maxed. Everything is flawless. I've yet to see a stutter.

Well I went home for lunch and low and behold, fedex arrives. I got it half installed right now. I am amazed at my self restraint. I actually came back to work!!! (though I plan on sneaking out an hour early hehehe). Man my nerves are fried, I just want to get up and go! 2 more hours...

New Rig I am building

As most people will probably tell you here, ditch the SLI mother board and get a single 6800GT. By the time your video card needs to be upgraded, you'll probably want a new CPU(possibly MB) as well.

Is the MSI "K8N Neo2 Platinum" the board to get for AMD 64 overclocking???

I just always say that :). you can never get enough cooling. I was mainly refering to a secondary case fan. You have your PSU fan(s), CPU fan, possible GFX fan, and its a good idea to make sure there the case fan. Not truely necessary, but it can't hurt and it isn't expensive (if your case come...

Last night I took out the CPU and plugged both my old and new PSU's into the motherboard(nothing else though) and turned it on. Both PSU's powered up and fans were going. Put the CPU back in, nothing... Ummmm...

A Decent LCD Monitor?

I'd reccomend sticking with a nice CRT if you have the space on your desk. I use the Dell M993 19in flat CRT at my work (2 actually in a dual monitor setup) and am satisfied so far with em (using about 1.5 months now). Link $269 shipped I hear sony's are nice also.
