Just want to say you're not alone. I'm having the same problem with my TP-650 that I received a few days ago. Installed it, spent hours making all the cables look clean and nice, plugged it in, and immediately heard squealing coming from it. Currently going through the RMA process. Quite a pain...
Alright I have a good one for you guys.
Straight when my PC boots up, I get a screen full of artifacts... Looks exactly like it does when a tube TV isn't on a channel... only in color.
It began after rebooting my computer after installing new drivers for my video card. As soon as it posts...
Sorry for the silly question, but I just picked up a HD 3870 X2 and I have always disabled Catalyst AI with my previous cards... So I did it with my 3870 X2 aswell... Does this mean that I have disabled crossfire on the card?
I am having the exact same problem. I had reinstalled Vista a few days ago and hadn't installed any video drivers until the 7.5's came out.
Once I installed it, my screen got a dim grey color to it... I thought it was just me at first until I saw your post... I also have a Samsung 226BW.
I have an ASUS A8V-E Deluxe mobo and I had two sticks of 512MB Kingston ValueRAM. I recently purchased one other stick of the same brand and my motherboard won't see that i have 1.5gb of ram... it only sees 1gb
Anyone know why this is?
You know, you guys are right.... I have decided not to go along with it and Ill just wait for the much anticipated R600 to be released before I upgrade :)
Performance wise - I believe ATI had claimed that having an X1600XT handle physics is 2x faster than Ageia, and a X1900XTX being 9x faster. If this is true, than it should be very promising...
wow I'm suprised that some of the responses. I don't see what is so wrong with this, considering that I paid a fair amount for the 3 year in-store warranty (which is about to expire) that allows me to get a replacement on a damaged product. Alot of people do worse things. (illegal ones)
My...
The store that I bought my video card at has a return policy where I can pretty much exchange my damaged x700pro for something equal to the price that I paid for it. In this case a x1900gt... It is an attractive upgrade, so I figured that I might as well do it.
What would be a good way to damage a video card that would render it unusable? (Without physically breaking it or snapping it)... Would holding up a strong magnet to it do anything?
Suggestions are appreciated :)
We do not condone this sort of behaviour on AnandTech. This is fraud...
Well it seems like it would just be easier to return the broadband router and go and buy a switch :P (that would work right?)
Thanks for your help, and happy New Year to all!
