how do I access my computer from somewhere else

I have a d-link 624 rounter with a broadband connection. I want to know how to configue the router so that I can access files on my computer form somewhere else. Can anybody help with this? Thanks

What to upgrade with Asus A7v-e?

I have a freind's computer that I told them I would look at. It is an Asus A7v-e mobo, Duron 750, 512mb pc100 memory, with a 20gb 5400rpm drive running Win Xp Pro. All ram slots are full. From what I can find the mobo will support a Tbird running at 1Ghz. She wants it to start up faster...

Corsair or Buffalo PC3200 value memory?

I am just trying to decide between Corsair or Buffalo PC3200 value memory? I am going to get a DFI LANPARTY UT nF3 250Gb, and Athlon 64 3000+ Retail. I won't be doing any overclocking. Just want a nice stable system. Thanks, Jim
