Will wireless internet surpass DSL/Cable?

Nope. Wireless will always have less capacity [in relation to cabled/fiber connections] and suffer from interference. Cable/dsl/fiber are much simpler technologies, and much cheaper to maintain.

Paging files for servers with large amounts of RAM?

XBMC Died. I need a new HTPC Solution

The XB360 needs a PC to run everything off -- which is a huge turn off. PS3 seems a little nicer setup -- but again -- needs a host server. My XBOX has a 250gb harddrive in it.. just ftp shows/movies to it and be done with it .. ya know?

what can i use to conceal cables after wall mounting?

I would cut one more hole and run the wires in the wall, or into the basement and back up somewhere if possible. Wire molding is tacky.

Bad Perf. w/ Dell Poweredge 2500 & 2600

I had to toss PCIx SATA raid cards in my poweredge servers to get anything out of them. The Dell OEM raid card seemed to benchmark SLOWER when the drives were in RAID1 then when they were standalone!

18-55mm IS vs 18-55mm non-IS

IS or not, the 18-55 is a poorly built lens that has rather reasonable image quality for the price. Read up on if you need IS or not. Get a 50mm instead.

There aren't any errors, per say. It happens on the SATA and IDE bus with a standalone testing app, and across both while file to file copying. I have an adaptec PCI->ide adapter I can try, but I imagine I will have similar issues. I am also considering installing ubuntu on the 400gb drive...
