How to see all folders in same view?

Is it possible to have every folder set to be viewed the same way...for example I'd prefer to see everything as details. Can this be done?

Best free DVD/CD burning software?

I recently built a new pc and am wondering what yall's input is on what would be the best free dvd/cd burning software. The DVDRW i bought was OEM and didnt come with a thing :/

~$800 to spend on new system

Get a low end venice or winchester AMD64 to keep the price down, EITHER a 6600GT or x800xl pcix16, a pci-e mobo ( i just got an asus a8n-e), and you can probably do the rest....value ram, yadayadayada.

AMD64 3200 Install Question

it is greyish...but am i supposed to peel a layer away or anything. I remember this old 2100, i peeled off a thin piece of tape, just like those instructions said...but these instructions make no mention of any thermal matter whatsoever, nor can i find any literature on the amd website.

AMD64 3200 Install Question

Ive got my parts from newegg. As im preparing to put the processor on the mobo, i cant find any literature on whether or not there is any thermal tape or paste on the heat sink, and im not 100% sure what im looking at on the bottom of the HSF. There IS a square of something...but i dont know...

ya i know the psu is a little high, but i was under the impression that i may need dual 12v...and this one is 18a on both of them. the case comes with a 420w psu that i intended on taking out. ive just read alot about how important it is to have a good psu.

make sure you've backed up any data you need to cd's/external/whatever...and dont forget to make sure you have all the discs you need to install hardware as well. if not, download and save them externally first.

Best recommended Laptop

I currently have a 3 yr old Dell laptop that has been ok, no real problems with it. What would you guys recommend for a new laptop, under $1500, some gaming? Alienware is just too high, Dell components just seemed too blah.

Why Vivendi Universal bites...

Tribes2 Classic mod was incredible. What they did with TV, like you said was dumb it down so any noob can walk in and start killing people because of dumb stuff like the way they made the tank, pod, buckler, and mortar. I could definitely like the buckler and pod, but they unbalance the game...

Well, i dont know how man site regulars are fans of the Tribes series, but Tribes:Vengeance came out in like october of last year, buggy as hell, and disappointing game imbalances...but fixable. Vivendi promised a patch delivery in 12/04, and kept pushing that date back...eventually to 3/05...

Why is PCI Express being pushed so hard?

i would say in a nutshell...it is being pushed because in the near future its capabilites will be greater than agp. Its only been around for a short while and the two are comprable. Before long, it will not be comprable.
