OK So with WHS 2011 coming I have 2 problems.
1) My current solution e8500 4gb ram 4x 2TB drives has passed the point of being able to allow duplication (not nough space left)
2) WHS 2011 I will need raid as I do not want multiple shares etc

I run it off my Ipad it is just amazing. Profiles for almost everything touch pad mouse. Macros everything worked out of the box for me in 60 seconds just sick!
I have been testing XBMC and also Media Browser Plugin for Media Center. I find that while XBMC looks nice I'm missing much of the WMC features. The Media Browser plugin with Codec packs handles everythig for me.

What "fuss"? Setting up raid takes about 10 seconds? I boot up in under 30 seconds with raid and not sure whats so complex about it. Only downside imo is that you have a greater chance of failure. But thats why you back up your system. or store "data" on a raid 1 or 5
