The only way is to call them...it's a good idea to call sometimes and check up because if there is any problem you can resolve it with them on the phone and make sure it goes through.
Right....so calling AMEX...inquiring about signing up for a new card and asking which card provides the added benefit of Best Value Guarantee is going to make AMEX stop the program...
Gee...I'm sorry I didn't think of it...
Think before you flame moron...
You can get a Retail Drive for about $209 as well, but I didn't want to post that because that has already been posted.
Everyone here really freaks out about this whole Price Matching stuff with AMEX. If you are so worried, just keep the drive sealed and you will get your AMEX PM before the...
WD 120GB 7200RPM at Best Buy for $300 with a $100 MIR.
Found the drive using Pricewatch.com for $175. Use AMEX PM and get the drive for $25.
$300
-$100 MIR
-$125 AMEX

I've talked to AMEX in the past and they will match the drive for you even if it is OEM. I know a...
A suggestion for when you put the fan into the PS. I would not plug the fan into the PS...especially if it is a PS with variable fan speeds. I have had bad experiences with this. Simply plug in the fan outside the actual powersupply into the motherboard or one of the power connectors coming...
I moded the fan in my PS and it is not as dangerous as you may think. You just have to let the PS discharge, keep yourself grounded, and create a static free environment (ie not sitting down on your carpet). All of my fans are L1a's btw.
Yes I agree on the Barracuda drive, but my question is will the HDs ever be louder than the 5 panaflo fans that are blowing in my case already? I mean my computer still sounds pretty loud, but I can't tell if it is the HD or the air passing through the fans.
I agree with the fan idea. I have had three power supplies and replaced the fans in each with Panaflos and it works great. It is much better to just get whatever powersupply you want without paying a premium for silence and then modding them yourself for a much lower cost. I would suggest...
I do not believe that these new drives are made by Lite-On. I checked on CDRinfo.com as well and there was no mention of it. Where are you getting the info regarding the lite-on?
Beware this is not an original QPS Que drive that many of you may have bought before. This drive is not made by Sanyo and has no FCC ID so there is no way to find out who makes the insides or where to go for a firmware upgrade. CDR-Win will not recognize this drive and you will have many other...
The drive at pcbuyerclub.com is a retail drive so you do have the model for model match. I spoke with Best Buy and they said that when they credit your account it will only show up as a credit from Best Buy and would not give product specifications. So AMEX can't really do anything since it...
Ok so I don't know how kosher this is, but I am sure the flaming or the mod will let me know. If this is not allowed for any reason please go ahead and lock this thread.
Best Buy is selling a WD 80GB 7200RPM for $199.99 - $75MIR
I purchased this drive with Amex Blue and then price matched it...
