sorry to hear your troubles but it sounds like the trusted computing security chip is doing its job exactly as designed. as i understand it, the passwords are linked to the chip on the mobo, so if you were to take the drive out of the computer then ppl still wouldnt be able to get your data.

yeah man this really is bad. i have the 15.4" wsxga+ at 1680x1050.. i guess the problem spans the whole lineup. im very disappointed. i passed on the macbook pro with superb screen becuase of the mushy keyboard, only to get the thinkpad with a shiity screen. def gonna try the mod you suggest

i just got my t61 and have been messing with it my eyes get tired really fast using it. it reminds me of using my old CRT monitors at 60hz refresh rate. i tried cleartype on and off, 120dpi on and off. nothing really helps. i suppose its the same issue as you, poor viewing angles on this...

just want to report i went to the apple store today. the macbook keyboard looks very weird, but upon use it ends up being pretty good. the macbook pro however, seemed mushy and not very good at all my friends thinkpad is still easily best though

well i mainly want the 1920x1200 resolution. if i went with a 15" i would probably go with the thinkpad since it is 1680x1050, any lower than that is no good for my needs. i thought i read somewhere that there are 15"s that do 1920, but i imagine its really small haha

so 133fsb with 2/3 is out of the question with this card? 133fsb is pretty common.. so im assuming the limitation here is my motherboard's agp multiplier. with all this DDR 333, 400fsb, etc im guessing there are a wide selection of agp mutlipliers so you can get this card to work?

need help burning a linux cd
