i'm trying to do a clean install of XP Prof, and everything goes fine until the final stages of the installation. when it starts up and says "applying settings" it just freezes, then the screen goes black. i have no idea what it could be. any ideas?
thanks in advance.
well i've owned my fair share of promedia's :P and they're really just computer speakers that can go really loud. the quality doesn't even compare to mid-fi speakers. there are a few reasons why, namely the giant hole in the mids/mid bass, shrilly highs, and boomy yet muddy lows. i'm not...
i'm sorry but i have not heard one bose system that can hit 25hz.
you can port all you want but you're NOT going to see 25hz with 4inch drivers. klipsch promedia's have a ported sub with dual 6.5inch drivers....and that system cannot hit 25hz. i doubt a little $20 compaq speaker system will...
it says "powerful reproduction down to an amazing 25 Hz." then when you look at the specifications, it says that the subwoofer is made up for three 4" drivers......bwahahahahaha! 25hz my foot :D
i just built a computer for my cousin, and it's a 1ghz AXIA. my computer is a 750 tbird overclocked to 1.08hz....should i go through the trouble of swapping processors, and overclocking it to 1.33-1.4ghz? i know he wouldn't mind. but i dunno..i'm do lazy to get those heatsinks off :P is it...
i have the audiophile 2496, and it is SO awesome for music (if you have awesome speakers to go along with it), but i;m runnig it in win2k and i can't get it to work right with dvd's :( good thing i don't watch movies on my computers :P
<< it's 260watts in the 4.2 system compared to 160watts in the v2400/4.1 >>
Big deal....the Video Logic Sirocco Crossfires have a 40watt sub, it edges out the v.2-400s in loudness and destroys them in quality.

what the hell? did i say they were quality better quality, did i even...
<< Get the v2 400s with the upgraded preamp. The 4.2 is a complete gimmick. There is absolutely no reason you would/should need a second sub as long as your sub is placed in the right spot. Infact having two and balancing them properly is going to be even worse.

i disagree. v2.400...
