Lowering i/o voltage!!! will i be able to overclock my geforce more?

Doesn't sound completely off if you run the card with one of those tiny OEM heatsinks, since the chips get rather hot. At least the Geforce 1 chips generally have heat (not voltage) problems when overclocking. As an example, I was able to raise the core speed from 140 to 160 on my Geforce DDR...

"Bad" FSB settings?

Mr Big: Actually, a lot of newer hdd:s might also take serious damage if you run them at 40+ MHz for a long time. Furthermore, many sound cards sound like crap if you get that high. Also, many cheap network adapters die already at 38 MHz. So I wouldn't really go above 38-40 MHz on the PCI unless...

Addition, Kharm: It's really important that you make sure the PCI bus runs at 1/4 of your FSB, though. Otherwise you're in deep sh*t. Particularly your hdd's are at risk if you push them above 38-40 MHz on the PCI bus. Generally speaking, of course... :-)

Overclocking P3-733EB

I run my piece at 840 (140 MHz FSB) on a BX board, and surprisingly enough everything is really stable once I got the CPU stable. Ordinary PC100 memories (but don't count on those to make it), AGP at 93 MHz, etc. No artifacts, no lockups, nothing.

Weird Baybus issue with Sunon 120mm fan - 7v lead causing short? Please advise. (2cool and Cliff, please read this)

Processor Upgrade Question

Coppermines run at 1.65 V by default, but if you ask somebody who frequently posts here he would probably say 1.85 V... :-)

Successful OC + question... VERY COOL!

The main reason to add bigger heatsinks than the retail one is, generally, to add more stability. As long as your temperature is below, say, 55-60º C, you shouldn't worry (if the system is stable otherwise). But I personally wouldn't accept more than, as an absolute maximum, 60º C.

Thoughts about IE 5.5.......
