I have totally fallen in Love with the Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce4 based Motherboard it is dirt cheap, and cram packed with features. put a 90nm CPU on it and it overclocks like a dream.
Before this board I was an MSI man.
I have a Dual boot set up with my old 32bit XP and 64bit XP beta.
I can't migrate totally to XP x64 yet as there are no drivers for my "Edirol FA-101"... But here is my experience.
Once I got the 64bit drivers installed, I found it a stable and very responsive system, more so than 32bit...
This is the best board I've ever used (I hope it lasts as long as my old MSI-6191 has), I became a Gigabyte convert after about 2 days of using the GA-K8NF-9. I also think I'll be sticking with the nForce chipset in future too...
I just upgraded to a Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce4 motherboard and an Athlon64 3200... the system is stunning and dirt cheap.
I use Photoshop on my Pentium4 3.06Ghz and my new Althon64... the Athlon64 is between 25% and 50% faster at applying effects on large images and cost me a lot less than...
