My mobo sucks got to rma it cause asus some are bad some are good. Of course I am the guy to get the bad mobo lol.... oh well whats 2-3weeks waiting on your 3k investment of time and money?
yup thats me asus program does the same thing to me same error message and everything rauskis..... I cant flash my bios now cause I dont have a floppy lol.....
Duno I may rma my<a8nsli deluxe> board. I have fx 55 installed and the scores are not good.. 12128 is the best I can {get 3dmark03} with my my bfg 6800 gt pci-e vc. My 20-24 pin connector will be here sometime today so I will put that in and see what happens.
Ok I oredered my thermaltake overnight 20-24 pin connector should be here sometime today for 10 bucks I will see if there are any improvements or what I will keep you guys posted.....

I use the win update and yes you can downgrade the version number by clicking on the property settings this is the only file I had trouble with so far flashing...
guess I am an idiot or something the above link will not open for me. I downloaded that file 4 times from your orginal link and it will not flash I guess I get the idiot award today......
Ok you think my performence of my set up or lack of is due to my antech 550 and not enough power for my ps, with the 20 pin connector?
ie amd fx55 bfg 6800gt 1 gig carsair 550 xms <single card only atm> or you think its a bios issue?
I have orederd the thermake take adapter
1. Do not install ide drivers yet.
2. Learn how to reset your cmos b4 you do anything your going to need it.... <at least i did> lol
3. Stay away from sw drivers from nividia crashed my system could not get is up until I did a reformat.
4. Leave everything on auto for bios.

Ya i called asus last week they took my name and number and never called. I did this 2 times difffernt days today I got lucky and spoke with somebody I am thinking about just returning the board and getting something else...........

Now the thing is I will be without a mb for 2 weeeks they will not cross ship or anything. I cant believe this I need my mb and system. I called newegg and they said nope asus will replace...
I have all stock settings 2. Hmmmmmm got to figure this out... my fx 55 running@ 2.61 ghz.. bfg 6800 gt slot closeset to cpu and the sli card is set to single.... hmmmmmm

Ok i just read maximum pc my new issue and it said the ezplug should be used cause it will draw the extra power from there with out using the needed converter plug from 20-24.... Dont yell at me this is what they said so I tried it to see what would happen .... duno yet let ya know soon....
