If the prices are lower than the current price of a 680 then I agree, I see nothing wrong. But if they make the price higher than a 680 by $50 then forget it, ill do the manual bios flash myself.

AMD Catalyst 13.4 Released

Is overclocking busted for anyone with these drivers? I've been using Asus GPU Tweak to get to 1200 core on my 7850. However, after installation of these drivers i'm being limited to 1050. Range enhancement is checked in settings. So odd.

The rumors about the product schedule are false -- AMD

It's most likely an end of Q3 or Q4 launch. Which is disappointing. That would be well over 1.5 years on the same 7xxx series. With Crysis 3 coming out, I was hoping for a mid-range single-slot solution to play it well - something like an 8870.

And do you still experience this pause/fps drop with turbo/speedstep disabled? You should test it by enable/disable and see if there's a pattern.

Sandy Bridge Turbo Algorithm & Its Affect On Games and FPS

The thing is that I'm overclocking the Turbo on my system. So I'm actually going from a base frequency of 3.3ghz all the way to 4.4 ghz when Turbo kicks in. That's a 1.1ghz difference that I gain and lose in approximately 25 seconds. There has to be some odd FPS fluctuations from that.
