CompUSA finally charged my card after sending me the wrong monitor.. but they surprised me by crediting me exactly 14 days after they got the RMAd monitor... they still suck.. so I went with NewEgg for 369.99 w/ free shipping.

Cmon now... think a minute. When the minimum wage goes up, businesses have to pay unskilled employees more (think fast food, walmart, etc) and that makes the profit margin go down. So how does a business counteract profit loss? Raise prices....ahhh it is so simple I don't see how the govt cannot...

Where should i buy computer hardware??

Also compare www.chiefvalue.com. A lot of their items has free fedex shipping. I can vouch for Monarch too... I live on the Gulf Coast and their shipping was quick and their prices on processors sometimes beats NewEgg.

I got my order confirmed by Ashley at CompUSA... she said my lcd was shipped out on 2/10 after I placed the order on 2/7/2005 9:17:52 AM with a 1-2 day ship time originally. So I will let everyone know when I get the monitor if they spit on it since I was a nag. I will also post about image...

I just called and mine was supposed to be processed in 1 to 2 business days, but they did not mention that the monitor was not a 90D+. Man, if I end up getting a 90D regular, I am going to be pissed. I usually dont shop CompUSA as they are overpriced and have crappy policies.... crossing my fingers.

I got a Samsung 910T for my bro-in-law from newegg and it had no dead pixels... it was worth the savings. I am looking at the Hyundai L90D+ from chiefvalue.com for $365.... sweet deal

I need your help with my first SFF build

I built a SK83G for my brother in law.. it has an Athlon 64 3400 (socket 754) with 512 mb, DVD burner, floppy, geforce 5200 for DVI (he aint no gamer) and it runs that no problem. I have heard the Shuttles will power a 6800GT. Trey - how loud is the fan on that 9800Pro.. what version do you have?

How Do People Upgrade Shuttles?

it is a poor upgrade path... since you would have to upgrade the motherboard AND the power supply, maybe even the heatpipe. I used to be a MAD upgrader... now I like my money a little more so I judiciously upgrade every 2-3 years. Motherboards and processors will have changed by that time...

Why not look at Shuttle SFFs?... they come with a motherboard and heat sink for the processor; that cuts down on noise, plus the ARIA has been reported in the forums to have poor heat dissapation. So if you combine the fire-building Prescott with the poor heat dissapation, then you have a...

Yea doubt I will be overclocking as I dont need to squeeze that much extra out of the card... but this one seems to be the only GOOD performer with a passive heat system for AGP, the only other one I have found is a Radeon 9600 Pro which isnt in the same league. Thanks for the reply!

Actually the Hyundai looks just like the Samsung 910T I got for my brother in law.... right down to the height adjustment. Sweet... and about $100 cheaper than the 910T to boot. The 910T can do dual source... I just hope this one can too.

19" LCDS - vertcial adjusting arm?

MY brother in law got the Samsung 910T and that LCD can be adjusted up and down. I need to stick a center channel speaker under it on my desktop... but wondered if there were any other LCDs less than $460 US that can be adjusted vertically as well play games very well with no ghosting?
