I have a Intel Celeron D 351 running at 3.2ghz in my media center. But it doesn't seem to like playing HD content very much. Was thinking E2200 would be a sufficient upgrade but would like to know for sure that with 1gb ram and a AH2600PRO that it will do the trick.
I must have a different MCE remote I think mine is 1-2 years old now. But I tried all the buttons and nothing.. Maybe Ill try media portal or I have a vista disk I could try that media center program as a last resort I know it has mkv plugins.
I can get them to play fine but if they have commentary or subtitles I can't figure out how to turn them off. Does Media Center have a option for this?
So I'm sitting here thinking while I'm putting my new hd 2600 pro agp into the old media center. The adapter it has is s-video to component. I thought HD content is too high bandwidth for a cable like that. Don't you need DVI, HDMI or straight component?

I cant seem to find anything on this problem but anytime Im on a Xdcc recieve I lost connection. Very rarely do I ever finish without having to restart numerous times. What could be causing this? I only lose connection from the bot or person Im connected with.

Basically my side is that sata1 vs sata2 vs scsi u160 vs u320 doesnt matter because the drives themselves are not fast enough to come anywhere close to using 3gb/s or 1.5gb/s of bandwidth. If a drive can only read 60mb/s then how would sata1 or sata2 really make a difference? Maybe Im wrong...

Yea it definetly doesnt work without the drivers and the other drivers and likely conflicting with it. Ive had no trouble with WEP and the usb adaptor, I use 64bit WEP.
