What's sad is that when I had a 75mhz computer, it only had 16mb ram, and didn't even have a 3d video card. Oh and it was a 100mb hd

Unfortunately the only ones that even had them in stock are over 45minutes from my location. The closest one to me was OOS, my main concern was checking to see if they even had them in stock. I'll know next time not to call about the price, damn them.

I called all my local stores in socal. The West Covina store told me they didn't have any in stock, but said that Lakewood had 10 and Chino Hills had 4. I called Lakewood to ask about it, and the guy said "ok sure hold on". Then I hear him talking to his coworker "this HAS to be a mistake...

crucial.com also lowered their prices from 119 down to 109. I bought a pair from crucial.com less than a month ago and called in today asking if I could get the difference back, they refunded me the difference in price, booya.

I signed up last week for the express package (1.5m/384k). I got the modem in today, and hooked everything up. For some reason, if I access the modem directly, it will say downstream 384k, upstream 384k... And all tests show that I'm capped at 384k. It should be 384k MINIMUM, and 1.5M...

Funny stuff, I called the Mission Viejo store this afternoon, the guy on the phone checked and said they haven't arrived but should be there in a week. Ended up calling the Tustin store, they had two in stock. Had my friend go pick it up, while he was there someone else happened to be there...

Good to know that it wasn't an OEM version. I wonder why the cheaper price? Also it seems that if you search for it on compusa.com, it's $299 but "coming soon" If you search on compusabusiness.com, they have the $299 "in store" only, and some local stores have them in stock The $272...

That's weird. Why would they have two separate versions, one for $299 and one for $272. At first I thought compusabusiness was just cheaper in general, but guess not. Could it be that it's a OEM version everyone is buying for 272?

How did you find the direct link to that card? It seems if you browse for it on compusabusiness.com, it will come up with the same card for $299.99 But if you click on the link in the first post, it comes out to the $272 version *shrug* Looks like it's back in stock again?
