My friend wants to purchase a slim line notebook to use for taking notes in class. Nothing fancy, just enough to do word processing. Problem is, he is looking at some Toshiba Notebooks that generally come with a docking station that contains a CD-ROM or floppy drive, but the ones he's looking at...

Wow, Geek Squad prices are crazy

I work for my college's "Help Desk" and we do all the services offered by the Geek Squad for FREE. I think I'm gonna print these prices out and post them so that all the ungrateful kids who come in and complain b/c we didn't get their boxes done in 3 hours will stfu.

I have never OC'd before but I have come upon a great deal for a watercooling system and so my first thoughts turned towards overclocking. I was hoping that someone could point me towards a good online tutorial or guide for a first-timer. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Building a new pc, would you change anything?

The only problem I would have is the motherboard. I've had problems with the VIA chipsets in the past, so I really push for the nForce 4 chipset

First of all, for gaming you have to go with Athlon 64. Even the 3200+ performs better in HL2 than the most expensive Intel. As for graphics cards, unless you are planning on SLI don't bother with PCI-E, it just increases the price of you GPU and Mobo. Plus, there really is no need for PCI-E...
