Well I got the message on my other computer. It says to put in the windows xp cd and press r which I do. I then have to choose the installation I want to repair. The only choice is 1 so I press 1 and enter. It then gives me a BSOD with a registry error. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Most cards overclock well even with 2.0ns ram. I can get mine to 1232 on the memory and it has 2.0ns. Granted you will need some cooling for it. But memory speed does make somewhat of a difference. But not enough in games to make it really worth the extra cash.
Well I've come across an interesting issue with my Neo2 and 3dmark05. I've looked through orb and it seems to affect other neo2 owners as well. If you wanna look at the thread on the futuremark forums it's here.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on?
The card worked fine before I reformatted. I tried again today setting low power 3d back to 500 core and when it runs 3dmark05 it runs it in low power 3d. I'm not sure why it is going on. I tried several drivers and they all did the same thing. I'm...
How could your scores be the same either way. When mine tries running 3dmark05 at 300 core it skips so many frames its not even funny. There is no way it could get the same score.
Well my 6600GT is having some troubles. At first I was having a problem running 3dmark. When I started 3dmark05 instead of going to my oc core it goes to only 500. Sometimes it worked with my real oc clock but usually it went to the low power 3d setting.
Well I got control of my low power 3d...
Well I'm currently running my cpu at 240x10 at 1.44vcore. Speedfan used to show my idle around 30 and my load while playing CS never went above 48. Now it shows my idle at around 40 and my temps while playing CS reached 56! Sandra also shows about a 40C idle as does BIOS. I'm not sure what...
Well I'm not sure what is up. Right now I'm running at 240HTT with a 10multiplier at 1.5vcore with memory at a 6:5 divider(200mhz) at 2-2-2-6 timings at 2.6vdimm. It runs everything fine and ran prime for over 6 hours. Well I'm trying to get mym memory 1:1. I put on timings of 2.5-3-3-7 at...
What the best way to narrow source of instability in an overclock. I'm trying to get to 2400mhz on my 3200 with my ram at 1:1. I try various voltages for vcore and vdimm and it keeps failing the blend test in prime. My memory timings are at 2.5-3-3-10 which I think should easily pass. It did 33...
Well now I really don't know what's going on. Currently my cpu is at 230 HTT x 10 at 1.45 vcore with the memory at 230 2.5-3-3-7 at 2.6vdimm and it crashes from CS:S. It took longer to crash than when I had 250HTT but it still did. I know my memory can run those timings(its TCCD and can run...
Well I'm running at 250mhzx10 with RAM at 208mhz 2-2-2-5 and it passes Super Pi. However it requires 1.62vcore. How safe is this? Also I'm wondering is it better to run memory with higher timings and more mhz or lower timings with lower mhz? Right now sandra gives me a slow memory bandwidth...
I ran Super Pi 8M at 250mhz x8 at 1.5vcore and memory at 1:1 at 2.5-3-3-6 at 2.85v and it passes. So I upped the multiplier to 9x and it passes as well at 1.52vcore. I then ran Super Pi 8M at 250mhzx10 with the memory at 3:2(166mhz) at 1.6vcore and it passes. I then tried Super Pi with 250x10...
I ran prime95 on the small FFT setting while I was at work and it ran with no errors for 3hours 24 mins at 258mhzx9 at 1.5vcore and RAM at 1:1 with timings of 2.5-3-3-6 at 2.85v. But it doesn't want to do Super PI 8M.
What the best way to check the highest cpu speed. Say I lower my memory multiplier to 100 and try to see my max mhz at 10x. What would be the best way to check stability of it?
Another wierd thing happened today. I have my memory at 2.5-3-3-6 at 266mhz on 2.65v. I set my CPU to 8.5x at 1.45v. It passes memtest. If I set the multiplier to 8 or 9 it fails. It only passes at 8.5. It doesn't pass super pi however(8M) at this setting which is only 2270mhz. I'll let...
Well it did fine with prime95 for 5 mins and I'll test it more overnight. But when I've been playing cs it gives me a memory error. I dunno where I can find exactly what it said but I remember something about memory.
If I lower my cpu multiplier to take it out of the equation and my memory passes memtest 5 and 6 that would mean my memeory can run those timings at the mhz right?
Well I'm running at 300mhzx8 with ram at 6:5 at 2.5-3-4-7 right now and it passes super pi. What I'm concerned about is that cpuz reads the ram speed at 240mhz. But it should be at 250 mhz.
Well I ran prime95 with my cpu at 250mhzx10, my ram at 125 mhz, and my htt multiplier at 3x. My vcore was at about 1.616 and yet prime95 still failed. It also fails super pi. I'm not sure what else I should change
Well I just recieved all the parts for my new pc. It is what is described in my sig. I've read most of the stuff about overclocking but I'm still sorta confused. Do I just raise the HTT mhz until the system won't boot or crashes? Once it crashes what do I raise? The DDR voltage/timings? The...
