Up and running in VMware.....Too dang slow to accomplish anything, but they say out of VMware its fine. Soooo...now to get it up and going without VMware. To be continued tomorrow....
http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page says:
"August 10, 2005 - We have recieved unconfirmed reports that a torrent has leaked containing a VMWare image of Tiger x86 that has supposedly been hacked to circumvent TPM and run on non-SSE3 machines. More news as it happens..."

Basically as the title says: How would one go about getting VMware workstation to boot off of a virtual drive? Is this even possible?
My situation is as follows:
No dvd drive burner and the one I'm installing is over 700 megs, so I'm using DAEMON Tools to mount the ISO.
Title says it all. I have 2 SVCDs and I'd like to convert them both to one file so that I can just store it on my hard drive. Any Recommendations for a program to use? Something simple and such.
I'm using an MSI rs480's onboard and my audio is "popping". Anyone know a cure for this or what "could be" the problem?
Recent games it has happened in:
Star Wars Republican Commando
SWAT 4
I think that's what I'm looking to do. I have program in an ISO and I want to install it without burning a DVD. Anyone know a good guide that can explain how I would go about doing this?
Bleh, well, I downloaded a new version of Everest and I guess the version of speedfan had some glitch in it. I no longer see that 235F temp. My readings with Everest are as follows:
Motherboard: 33C (91F)
CPU: 25C (77F)
and for some reason, two sensors are showing for only one hard drive...
I'm using a program called Speedfan and its giving me these readings:
Ambient : 91 F
Remote 1 : 77 F
Remote 2 : 235 F
HD0: 97 F
I'm not sure what measurement stands for what, but do those look normal for this system?:
Motherboard: Msi RS480
cpu: AMD Athlon 64 3000
2 512...
Well, I went ahead and formatted it through computer management as a simple dynamic drive
Anyways, the first problem where it didn't recognize it was because for some reason, this one, unlike my Hitachi, needed a Molex plugged into it. Western Digital's website is damn good for...
Well, I'll be buying the license for the product in 2006 or so :P
I guess the only possible way here might just be to buy a dvd burner...bleh..Dang my curiosity and its costs
Is it possible to install an operating system from another hard drive in a system? Hmm, I think that makes sense. Basically, I do not have a dvd burner, but have 3 hard drives. Is there any way I could do this? Make the hard drive act like a cd drive? I will be wanting to dual boot.
My...
Hey folks, another little question from me. Anyone know of the cheepest card I could grab that would allow direct plug in from a guitar? Or is this not possible, ie. I would have to run it through my amp first?
Not sure on the average, but I'm still using optical drives from almost 5 years ago, lol. One came from an old compaq(4x dvd-rom) and the other(cdwriter/rewriter - 16x) came from a www.cyberpowerpc.com computer ;) I've gone through plenty of 50 stacks over the years, but no idea how many I've...
