Steam Controller owners - what do you think?

I like the feel of the Steam controller. And it does a decent job of making mouse and keyboard games playable on a controller, and the touchpad is pretty decent as a substitution for a mouse. That said, it is no where near as good as a mouse and keyboard, and I'd probably still pick an Xbox...

How much internship/relevant work experience do college students usually have?

Take one less class a semester and pick up a (relevant) part-time job instead. 10 hours a week should be doable and will look a lot better than graduating a semester or two earlier.

Anyone else disappointed with gsync?

Vsync makes sure there's no tearing. No vsync means no stuttering, vsync causes stuttering. Gsync/freesync are vsync without stuttering. 7970 doesn't support freesync. Only GCN1.1 and newer cards. I've got freesync and love it. Couldn't stomach the cost for a Gsync setup.

I'm for this, it's a shame that ex-criminals, who have already served their time, are basically turned into unemployable second class citizens. As long as it was non-violent crime, these people should be employable after they've served their time to society.

Virtual machines have poor i/o performance (especially for graphics), and high memory overhead. User mode cpu performance is nearly untouched though.

Sega was broke by the time of the Dreamcast, and both Microsoft and Sony were willing to offer them incentives to be 3rd party. The system was cheap to make, had a decent attach rate, and sold decently, if Sega hadn't been bleeding money, they could have stayed in the game.

Lots of games seem to have issues when they use framerate limiters. I just always turn them off, turn off vsync, and then rely on adaptive vsync in the control panel options.

Xbox One wins by basically any metric. Comparing versus the Cell would be a closer competition though, where the much higher peak floating point performance of Cell would be tough for the Xbox One to overcome on a mixed workload.

AMD & NV image quality comparison

I can say that on my nvidia cards, I've noticed that the various quality settings in nvidia control panel can cause unwanted aliasing/blur on distant textures. I just leave everything set to high quality and turn off optimizations now and it looks fine.

I'm surprised you didn't buy another Titan, or sell the Titan. In Batman, SLI barely works, so dedicating one card to physx may actually outperform sli cards, but it won't be like that in most games. (batman extensively uses physx too)
