I will stick with the ULTRA, the modular cable setup was one of the best things Ive experienced yet, but I have researched thru and thru since this has happened and have never even heard of an ULTRA go bad! I think if the next PSU is going to go out, its not going to be the PSU's fault.. I will...
Yea... everything turns on fine with the PowerLab 450W.
:( :( :( :( :(
My $130 award-winning PSU is junk after a few days of use. I wonder if the computer is destroying my PSU.
Whats the deal with backwards-heatsink syndrome? I cant even comprehend how that could happen. . lol
My comp has been working great and playing games quite a bit lately. Swapping out PSU right now......back in a minute with details!
If I remove my PSU and disconnect everything then plug it into my outlet and turn it on, will it power up ?
I am just curious to know if this is bad or not, I am tempted to try it but am not too sure on what, if any, consequences are there.

Your 71.25 drivers are WHQL but I wouldn't rely on that. Different systems react differently to some drivers.. Revert to 66.93 and see how it goes. You may see an improvement. ALthough I am using 71.80 for my 6800GT and get good FPS and 11,500 in 3dmark03 (AMD64 3000+, 512mb DDR266 (temporary...
I just bought this 500W Ultra X-Connect PSU from xoxide.com a week ago or so. It's only seen about 20 hours of runtime so far and the voltages were pretty dead on so I was very happy with the rails' performances.
So this morning I go to play some AAO, and the thing isn't on like I left it. I...
Yeah. This is pretty ridiculous!
I just tried two 256MB PC2100 DDR CL 2.5 sticks in DIMM 1 and 3 and it has video! Comes to "no bios" and then basically it is an empty BIOS.
Hmmm. So nobody ever told me I needed TWO sticks of memory to even BOOT this thing??? Why.
It POSTs obviously :) Since it says System failure due to CPU overclocking. I have removed the CMOS battery, reset the RCT (or whatever) jumper and it is *supposed* to return to normal default values to avoid the overclocking, but it doesn't! Same error over and over.
Tomorrow, I will...
Although I have never been able to get a video signal to the monitor to even Overclock it!
