Could you please tell me what your BIOS settings are regarding IDE and SATA...

I got a Western Digital 200 GB SATA drive just to determine if the problem is my Maxtor drive or the motherboard. At this point, it's not detecting the WD drive either.

I finally got to see my Diamondmax detected. I cleared the CMOS and then changed only the BIOS settings related to getting the HDD detected. I enabled the following:
SATA 1 & 2, then RAID, then SATA 1 within the RAID setup.
Restarted and machine and then when it got to the RAID BIOS...
